Menu Samples for Thanksgiving

This holday commemorates a meal shared by the Pilgrims and Wampanoag Indians in 1621.
The Wampanoag Indians helped the Pilgrims learn how to plant and grow crops in their new land.
The Pilgrims invited the Native Americans to a feast to thank them for all they had learned.

Meal preparations include all courses, ready made for being served.

Thanksgiving Menu #1:

Soup:
Clear Broth with Semolina Nockerln (Klare Suppe mit Griessnockerln).
Oven Roast Turkey:
Made Styrian Style with Gravy & Cranberry Sauce (Truthahn nach Steirer Art mit Sosse und Cranberries).
Salad:
Butter Lettuce in Gorgonzola Vinaigrette (Häuptelsalat mit Gorgonzola Salatsosse).
Dressing:
White Bread Dumpling (Semmelknödel Fülle).
Potatoes:
Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes (Kartoffelpürree mit geröstetem Knoblauch).
Marshmellow Yams.
Vegetables:
Sweet Peas in Butter (grüne Erben in Butter).
Dessert:
Pumpkin Strudel with Whipped Cream and Chocolate Sauce (Kürbisstrudel mit Schlagobers und Schokoladensosse).
