Here I created a few typical Austrian Special Occasion Menus for you.
My Special Occasion Service includes a first course, a main course with one side dish plus a salad and a dessert, ready made for being immediately served.
Menus that include meat:
- #1:
First: Beef broth with noodles (Rindsuppe mit Nudeln).
Main: Viennese Cutlets with parsley potatoes and cucumber salad (Wiener Schnitzel mit Petersilkartoffeln und Gurkensalat).
Dessert: Chocolate & Nuts Crepés (Schokolade-Nuss Palatschinken).
- #2:
First: Eggs in sauce Mayonnaise (Eier in Paradeis-Mayonnaise).
Main: Roast pork á l'Harlequin with rice, creamed asparagus tips and mixed salad (Harlekinbraten mit Reis, Spargelgemüse und gemischtem Salat).
Dessert: Sacher torte with whipped cream (Sachertorte mit Schlagobers).
- #3:
First: Stuffed cold tomatoes (Kalte gefüllte Paradeiser).
Main: Creamed chicken with asparagus tips, small peas and mushrooms and small bread dumplings (Eingemachtes Huhn mit Spargeln, Erbserln und Schwammerln und kleinen Semmelknödeln).
Dessert: Profiteroles with pink icing and strawberry filling (Brandteigkrapfen mit Erdbeerfülle).
- #4:
First: Stuffed eggs and mayonnaise (Gefüllte Eier mit Mayonnaise).
Main: Beefsteaks in puff pastry with mixed salad (Beefsteaks in Blätterteig mit gemischtem Salat).
Dessert: Buttercream cake (Scheidlcremetorte).
- #5:
First: Ham rolls with grated horseradish cream filling (Schinkenrollen mit Oberskren).
Main: Paprika chicken with Gnocchi (Paprikahendl mit Nockerln).
Dessert: Malakofftorte.
- #6:
First: Mixed plate of vegetables with melted butter (Gemüseplatte, warm).
Main: Pork roast with red cabbage and potato dumplings (Schweinsbraten mit Rotkraut und Erdäpfelknödeln).
Dessert: Salzburger Nockerl.
- #7:
First: Asparagus soup (Spargesuppe).
Main: Mixed meat loaf filled with scrambled eggs and Frankfurters, beetroot and celery salad and mashed potatoes with fried onion rings and spinach (Faschierter Braten mit Würstel und Eierspeis, roter Rüben- und Zellersalat und Erdäpfelpüree mit gerösteten Zwiebeln und Spinat).
Dessert: Coffee cream torte (Kaffeecremetorte).
