About Me..."I am thinking about cooking as an art, and art it is!"

I was born and raised in Cooking was always more than a hobby for me. I was always on the look out for new recipes and cookbooks. To expand my knowledge and to be able to compare the food of different cultures, I also started to cook Italian, American, Mexican and Chinese dishes. Later on in life I studied and after I received a Masters of Arts, I moved to California where I got married and where I started to, and still do spend quite a bit of time with collecting and reading cookbooks, shopping for needed ingredients and cooking meals for my husband, my son, our friends and myself and for my clients. I am very conscious about walking down the supermarket aisles, selecting the foods I am offering and only the highest quality, freshest ingredients possible are selected. It is all about attitude. According to the subtle laws of nature, a cook creates the food not only physically but mentally as well. Therefore food is mysteriously influenced by the cooks mindset. To give another example of this principle, a painting is not simply a collection of paint on a canvas. It is also and most importantly an expression of the artist's state of mind and this gets absorbed by the person who looks at the painting. The same is true for food. If we eat foods cooked by people with a possible negative attitude - employees working in a food factory somewhere for example - then we are sure to absorb a dose of these negative energies. This is what we do not want at all circumstances! I am happy to say that I am able to bless everyone who tastes my food with the qualities and talents I was raised with: for Love, for Art and for Good Food. In preparing the food, cleanliness is my most important principle. I am holding a food worker's certificate from the California San Bernardino County Health Department. Your health and food happiness is my top priority. So here I am, hoping that you will ask me to cook for you and to show you the great food I am so accustomed to. Nothing is more pleasing than cooking for someone who appreciates eating well.

Salzburg, Austria. I was always helping my grandmother and aunt in the kitchen preparing Austrian cuisine. Their love of cooking inspired me from early on. I am fourty-something now, so you know how long I cook. In the small kitchen in downtown Salzburg I was taught to cook the most delicious things, like Wiener Schnitzel, Hendlsuppe and Sandtorte. Most importantly I was taught the love of preparing and tasting wonderful food. Love of food is the only ingredient that makes a meal a meal as it is supposed to be: healthy, satisfying and lifting the spirits.
